- [Instructor] So before we get into visual storytelling, let's make sure we're setting ourselves up for success. Let's first break down what makes a really great presentation a great presentation. It has to do a lot of things well. First of all, it has to convey information. This is a no-brainer, but presentations exists to inform our audiences. So basically, it's a vehicle to store and disseminate information and ideas to an audience. Sometimes it may be presented live. Sometimes it may be emailed or printed. Either way, it serves to inform. Next, it has to be memorable. Why create something that people aren't going to remember? Are you just going through the motions? Or are you trying to create something that will remain with your audience after they've seen it? Next, it has to entertain our senses. How do we create something more memorable?
