Panning and zooming documents

- [Instructor] There are a number of different ways to zoom in and out of an image as well as to pan around to see different areas of the image in Photoshop. I'm going to select an open these two images by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd + O on Mac or Ctrl + O, on windows. Now, in order to select the zoom tool, I can select it from the toolbar or just tap the Z key. Every time I click, Photoshop will zoom in, but if I wanted to zoom out, I could either select the zoom out tool in the Options bar, or just hold down the Option key on Mac or the Alt key on windows and click to zoom out. Now, if I click and hold, I will continuously zoom in, and if you go far enough, you actually get this pixel grid overlay. This is called animated zoom. If I want to zoom very quickly, I can click and drag either left or right, and this is called scrubby zoom. If you don't like this, you can always uncheck the option in the Options bar.…
