Downloading and installing Xcode
- [Instructor] The official tool for building iOS apps is called Xcode, which could be downloaded for free at the Mac App Store. Once you've downloaded and installed Xcode, open up the application and after reading through and agreeing to the licensing agreement, you'll be asked to install additional required components. Make sure you check the box to install the iOS platform from this screen, and then click the button to download and install those components. After getting past the What's New in Xcode screen, you should see the welcome screen, which looks like this. Once you see the welcome screen, you're ready to proceed with the course.
