Sharing color correction effects
- [Instructor] In addition to performing color matches, you'll often need to share a color correction effect across multiple shots, which can provide you a baseline grade so you can tweak things further. So that's what I'm going to show you here. I'm going to come to this third shot here, which I've already corrected here as the before and after on this correction. And you'll notice that the next few shots in the sequence are really similar; the same subject, the same space, so it would be nice if we could actually just start with the correction that we've already done. So I'm just going to select the clip, and then come up to effect controls. And then here it is. And I can literally just select it and then press copy, Command + C or Control + C on a PC, and then go to the shot that I would like to apply it to and press paste, Command + V or Control + V. And you can see that this gave me a really nice match against this…
