- [Instructor] In an earlier chapter, we looked at the basics of character formatting including setting the font size and letting. Now let's look at a few more important character styling options that you have. First, I'm going to double click on this text down here and select this little heading. Now, let's zoom in to 200% by pressing command 2, or control 2 on Windows. We want to apply some additional formatting to this text. Now you remember that letting changes the spacing between lines of text, right? That's why some people call it line spacing, but what about changing the spacing between individual characters? Let's head up to the control panel and on the far left side, I want to make sure I'm in character formatting mode, so I'll click that little A.
