In this segment, we'll outline the relationship between local, fog, and cloud resources. Let's outline each of the components so you are aware of the complexity. A local area network is a private network in a localized area that an organization or individual owns, controls, and manages. Cloud computing is accessing network resources, such as hardware and software services, from a provider on the internet. Today, there are multiple options for cloud connectivity. You can have a dedicated WAN connection along with vendor options, such as Google Cloud Interconnect or IBM Cloud Direct Link.
