- Our boss, our boss's boss, and our competitors are watching how we work, what we do, and how we own our careers. Sometimes to get what we want, we have to ask directly. After all, hoping someone will reward us, acknowledge us, or give us what we need is not a strategy. It's just that, it's hope. My name is Lida Citroen, and in this course we'll discuss the why, how, where, and what of having an honest career conversation with your boss. I'm going to help you, whether you're seeking a promotion, you want more job responsibility or additional training, or even if you have to fix a mistake in your career. We'll discuss how you prepare for and handle your career conversation, which will determine what you receive, and how you're perceived going forward.
