What you should know

- Before beginning this course, you should already understand the fundamentals of electricity and how to build circuits using the three basic components of resistors, capacitors, and inductors. You should know how to build simple filter circuits, how to represent signals in the time and frequency domain, and how to interpret units of decibels and logarithmic scale. If you're brand-new to electronics, I recommend watching the Foundations of Electronics: Fundamentals first to learn the core concepts of voltage, current, resistance, and power. If you've got a grasp on those concepts but you don't have much experience building circuits, then start with the Foundations of Electronics: Basic Circuits. If you've got all that down, let's get to it.
