Using the exercise files and Excel versions
- [Instructor] The exercise files that come with this course are meant for you to open and follow along. Each one is named with the chapter number followed by the video number. As you go through the course, even if you don't go through each and every video in order, you can always open the corresponding exercise file and follow along. One special note about versions of Excel. I'm using the latest version of Excel for Microsoft 365 at the time of this recording, but you may be using another version, perhaps a version on the Mac. Most of what I teach in this course is possible to do in all versions of Excel on desktops, but there may be some differences mainly with the keyboard shortcuts, and when that's the case, I'll mention them. Okay, let's get started learning about pivot tables.
