- [Instructor] When you analyze and summarize business data, it's not always easy to tell how one value compares to another, or how a value compares to a benchmark. In this movie, I will show you how to create conditional formats that change the appearance of data based on value comparisons that you define within a worksheet. My sample file is 01 05 conditional, and you can find it in the chapter one folder of the exercise files collection. In this workbook, I have sales data for three different product categories. You can see those in column C. They're broken down by year for 2020 and 2021. And then I have the sales data in column D and the sales goal in column E. And what I'd like to do for this dashboard application is to use a color format to identify values that have met or exceeded the goal.
