From the course: Creating a Meeting Agenda
Welcome
- Agendas are probably the most important thing to get right if you're going to have an effective meeting. And yet, they aren't paid much attention. People are trained, agenda just sort of happen. And often, they're done really badly. But not anymore. Welcome to this short course on Agendas For Meetings. My name's Chris Croft. And I'm going to take you through what should be in an agenda. When you should send it. Who you should send it to. And, the factors to be considered when you're planning the contents of your meeting. By the way, I had an idea. You might want to get one of your current agendas. Or someone else's, if you can find a good one. And have it in front of you as you go through this course. And then you can see if there are any extra ways that you can make your agendas even better. And maybe make notes as you go along so that every time, from now on, that you write an agenda you've got the notes ready. So, let's get started.
