- Pre-task plans should be site-specific and should ask the question, how are we going to perform this task, on this project, in a safe and productive manner while meeting all of the specifications and project requirements? These cannot be done too far in advance because you need to take into account the site-specific conditions and things like the other work occurring in the same area. These should be completed by the people who will be doing the work, and they will reference one or more of the JHAs. For example, if the actual work of grinding concrete on a project will consist of three days of grinding portions of a concrete wall that's 12 foot tall, the PTP will need to address how the work will be done at heights of up to 12 feet.
