- [Instructor] Creating custom sections requires two steps as well. First we need to make the head, then we need to make the tail. Let's open up Revit. On her families, let's go new. Let's browse the english imperial or whatever your language may be. Go to annotations. Scroll down 'til we find a section head, click open. That's nice, they modeled some stuff for us. So let's scroll in here. Of course, we delete that note and we'll make our own little pointer. On the create tab, let's click line. I'll pick a point right here and I'm going to come out 1/8 of an inch. I'll come in at a 45 degree angle and just put it like here somewhere. Create line over here, come out 1/8 of an inch. And we'll come in at a 45 degree angle, here. And we'll type t + r for trim, and I'll just trim that up. And maybe I'll put a little radius on it. Go to create, line.
