- [Narrator] Once again, we're staying in our groundfloorplan.dwg file and we're still in the Annotate tab on the ribbon as well. We're going to take a look at the continue and baseline tools for dimension annotation in AutoCAD in this video. And they're up here on the dimensions panel. Click on the fly out here. You've got continue and baseline. Now, one of the things you've got to do with continue and baseline is you need to place a linear dimension first. Now, what I'm going to do is place a continuous line of dimensions horizontally along the top of our floor plan. So I'm going to zoom in a little bit on the top here and pan down like that. You need to be able to see this corner here and this corner here like so. Now, I'm going to go to the fly out here and select the linear dimension type. Click on Linear and make sure down here you've got one to 30 selected for your annotation scale. Can you see it there? One to 30.…
