Set up multiple user accounts
- [Instructor] When you turn on your Mac, you start here at the sign in screen where you need to type in your password then hit the return key, which signs you into your user account. Your user account is where all of your files and configurations are stored. If you share a computer with another person you may want to set up multiple user accounts so when each person signs into their own account they will see a separate setup and configuration, different settings, different documents, different photos and music libraries, and more. To set this up, you can go to system settings. So I'll click the Apple logo on the top left then go to system settings. Then on the left side here I'll go to the section for users and groups. And here we can see all of the user accounts set up on your computer. When you first set up your Mac, you will have one user account.
