Projects in Recruiter and Recruiter Lite

Last updated: 4 months ago

Projects in LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite allow you to manage your sourcing channels in one place. Your search results, job applicants, and leads from your media campaigns are hosted in a central location to help you organize and keep track of your candidates. It also helps LinkedIn provide you with better candidate matches and recommendations.

Learn more about each tab below.

Overview tab

The Overview tab in Recruiter provides high-level project details and insights related to your project, all in one place. This tab includes information about project activity, InMail trends, pipeline, candidate demographics, and more.

Talent pool tab

The Talent pool tab may contain the following:

  • Recommended Matches - You can view candidate recommendations tailored to your open job. LinkedIn recommends candidates who match the requirements in your job posting. You can Save, Hide, or Message the Recommended Matches. The list refreshes immediately after you take action on a candidate's profile to display a new set of recommendations. When you message a candidate in the Recommended Matches list, you use an InMail credit. The list of Recommended Matches will not be refreshed if you don’t take any action on any of the candidates.

  • Search results – You can search and filter for candidates directly within your project.

  • Job applicants – Candidates who’ve applied for your LinkedIn job posting associated with your project will appear here.

  • Leads – Leads from your associated Pipeline Builder campaign will appear here. This is only available in Recruiter.

Pipeline tab

The Pipeline tab includes candidate profiles that you’ve saved to your project from the Talent pool tab and candidates that you’ve imported through Recruiter. This allows you track and manage your candidates throughout the hiring process.

You can use the pipeline statuses on the left side of the page to view candidates who’ve been added to that stage of the hiring process. When you initially add a candidate to your pipeline, Recruiter defaults the profile to the first status that’s been set by your admin. You can click on the candidate’s profile to move them to a different status.

Job post tab

This tab displays the job post associated with your project.

Talent Insights tab

This tab displays a Talent Insights report generated using the search filters you’ve selected in your Talent pool search. This is only available in Recruiter.

Project settings tab

This tab is located in the upper-right corner of a project and displays all editable settings of the project, including project details, workflow settings, and project members (only available in Recruiter). You can also import multiple candidates and archive the project from this tab.
