Communication is key as such I will find out what is lacking and why their communication is poor. For example it could be a lack of electronic devices, or no writing materials or human factor not being very fluent in spoken words. In my point of view there can be two strategies. One is weekly meeting to motivate team and discuss challenges they are facing. The second one is to have social event monthly. These Social events comprises of Social games that are designed to improve team participating and communication.
