It's not humanly possible to please all your customers, come what may. But what becomes extremely important is actually listening to, understanding and feeling their problems - helps if you can see where the users are in their natural habitat when they are using your product. What all is going through their head, where do their eyes dart to first? What are they thinking. See and observe all this as effectively as possible. Put yourself in your user's shoes and then look at your product, not from a product manager's perspective, but from the user's lens.
