3. RMB Currency Exchange
We offer convenient RMB exchange services.
If you hold a current account in RMB with us and a current account with us in another currency, e.g. GBP, EUR, USD or HKD, you can make currency exchanges by simply transferring funds between two accounts.
■ It is commission free to exchange RMB with us. *
■ The exchange rate used for transfers between accounts maybe better than the cash exchange rates in our branches.
*Please note that buying rate and selling rate are different for any given currency pair. Exchange rates fluctuate constantly. Please check the rates with us.
If you hold current accounts in RMB and another currency, you can also arrange currency exchange via Internet Banking.

4. RMB Remittance
If you want to transfer funds to China and enable the beneficiary to receive money in RMB, you can send GBP/USD from the UK with our RMB Pre-Settlement service. The service brings the beneficiary peace of mind as no foreign exchange declaration process in China is required.In order to use our RMB Pre-Settlement service, customers must hold a Bank of China (UK) Limited current account.
