Bank of China (UK) Limited offers current accounts available in RMB. You can deposit or withdraw RMB cash using the account and transfer funds in RMB.

Free to pay in or withdraw cash from your account.
Internet Banking service available for your convenience.
Transfer funds from your account to：
- Other account holders with Bank of China (UK) Limited
- Your account in another currency with Bank of China (UK) Limited, so that the funds can be exchanged from RMB into another available currency
- RMB accounts held with other banks outside mainland China*

Application Procedures
1. Please download, complete and sign an ‘application form for personal account’. You can also request a paper form from any Bank of China (UK) Limited branch.
2. Please visit any of our branches with the application form and other required documents as set out below.
Required Documents
Valid identification* (e.g. your Passport or UK Driving Licence).
Proof of address* (e.g. a utility bill or bank/credit card statement dated within the last 3 months).
*Please contact the account opening branch for guidance on acceptable documents.
Gentle Reminder
1. Please contact the branch to book an account opening appointment in advance.
2. Please note that we do not accept either mobile phone statements or printed statements from internet banking as sufficient proof of address.
