Fantastic budget speakers! I am not sure what all the complaints are for these speakers - for $25, I am not expecting audiophile quality sounds or anything but at this price point, I don't think you can do any better. Its beautifully made, minimalist, and perfect for any desk setup. I was looking for simple speakers for my new PC build and just needed something for sounds since I'm primarily using headphones for gaming anyways. These speakers are a home run...they sit right behind my monitor and the small footprint and design fits my aesthetics perfectly. Sound is decent! Sure the bass and mids could be punchier, but for what I paid for, I am impressed.
Setup is easy...there is an audio jack that goes into your Line Out and a USB-C for power. The speakers come with a USB-C to USB-A converter if you don't have an extra USB-C slot. For this price point, its a steal!

Introducing Pebble V2, a successor to the popular Pebble speaker – we are keeping its minimalistic design, and giving it USB-C connectivity for higher power output! If you are using older computers with USB Type-A ports, not to worry, a USB-C to USB-A converter is included for you. Amazing mids/treble; not much bass; no cell phone interference!
I previously had a 15 year old Creative 2.1 speaker set that sounded totally fine, but the plethora of wires to the subwoofer on the ground and the wired remove were a real pain with my sit/stand desk. They also constantly made a buzzing sound when my iPhone was on my desk and the cell radio turned on, which was driving me especially crazy.So I decided to simplify and get this 2.0 speaker set, and I am so glad that I did. It's cleared up so many wires from my sit/stand desk setup, and with a wire rack under my desk, I only have 1 cable leaving the desk – power! Upgrade motivation #1, check.These speakers have also totally resolved my mobile phone interference problem – no buzzing at all from being near my phone. Upgrade motivation #2, check.The sound quality of these are routinely rated at the top of the budget speaker category. I'm really pleased with how small the speakers are – I've gotten a lot of desk space back. They also have surprisingly clear treble, and the angled drivers really help direct the sound to your head. I didn't expect much bass from a 2.0 speaker set, and there's not much to speak of, but I mostly listen to music without bass (e.g. piano, classical etc) when working, so this isn't a problem for me. I played around with the EQ in my Music app, and was able to get the bass up quite a bit (causing me to feel bass through my desk) – if that's your thing.I couldn't really tell too much of a difference between High and Low gain mode. The high gain mode was definitely able to get louder overall, but even on Low gain, I don't really exceed 33% volume. I found myself preferring the treble:bass balance on the Low gain mode a little more, so that's what I run them in. At low volumes, I found the high gain mode exaggerated the treble a bit.Even though the V2 has a longer speaker-to-speaker wire, I still wished it was longer. The V1 has an even shorter speaker-to-speaker wire, and I really would not recommend that for a desktop setup, although it would be fine if you only plan to put them on the sides of a laptop.
