Your YouTube TV search and watch history makes it easy to find videos you recently watched and improves your recommendations on YouTube TV. You can delete or pause your search and watch history to remove videos from your history.
Pause your search & watch history
If you don’t want your search or watch history to influence future recommendations and search results, you can pause your search or watch history. You can resume your history whenever you'd like.
Pause your search history
- Select your profile picture
Settings
.
- Select Privacy.
- Turn on Pause search history.

- Select your profile picture
- Select Privacy.
- Turn on Pause watch history.
Note: When you pause your watch history, any videos that you watch won't show in your history or affect your recommendations. Pausing your watch history will only impact YouTube TV.
Delete your search & watch history
You can delete your search and watch histories at any time.
Delete your search history
- Select your profile picture
- Select Privacy.
- Select Manage search history.
From here, you can delete your search history individually, by date, or completely.
Individually
At the top-right of any item in your history, select Delete 
By date range
- Tap DELETE
.
- Select Delete today or Delete custom range.
- If you selected a custom range, choose the dates at either end of the desired range you’d like to delete.
- Select Next

Select Delete all time.
Note: You can also delete your search history across Google products at myactivity.google.com. Learn more about how to delete activity manually or set up automatic deletion.
Delete your watch history
- Select your profile picture
- Select Privacy.
- Select Manage watch history.
From here, you can delete your search history individually, by date, or completely.

At the top-right of any item in your history, select Delete
By date range
- Tap DELETE
- Select Delete today or Delete custom range.
- If you selected a custom range, choose the dates at either end of the desired range you’d like to delete.
- Select Next

Select Delete all time.

Mark a video as watched
To add content to your watch history, you can also mark it as watched.
If you paused your watch history, you can't mark content as watched.
To mark a video as watched on a mobile device:
- Locate the content you want to mark as watched.
- Long press the content.
- In the menu that appears, select Mark as watched.
To mark a video as watched on a computer:
- Locate the video you want to mark as watched.
- Click More
next to the video.
- From the menu that appears, select Mark as watched.
