Download reports in Studio Content Manager

These features are only available to partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager.
You can download .CSV files of your finalized revenue and performance data from Studio Content Manager. These reports are automatically generated, and are available for 60 days. Reports are deleted after 60 days to comply with data retention policies.

Download your reports

To find and download your reports in Studio Content Manager:

  1. Sign in to Studio Content Manager
  2. From the left menu, select Reports .
  3. At the top of the page, select the type of report you’d like to download. Learn more about report types.
  4. Next to “View”, choose Weekly or Monthly.
    • Weekly reports show the last 2 months by default. Reports older than 2 months will be removed from our database.
    • Monthly reports that contain revenue show the last 2 months by default. You’ll be able to see the total amounts from previous months by expanding the view.
  5. Select the version of the report you’d like to download (e.g. Version 1.0, Version 1.1).
  6. Click the report name to download.
Microsoft Excel for Macintosh does not support UTF-8 encoding. If your metadata includes any non-Latin characters, use a different spreadsheet application such as Google Sheets.

Available reports

Financial summary

The “Financial summary” tab contains the Payment Summary report. This report provides an overview of your revenue and adjustments. It’s typically published after the 17th of each month.

Report Name Description
Payment Summary The Payments Summary report includes your total revenue, broken down by revenue type (e.g. ads, subscription, transactional). It also includes adjustments. Total revenue is reported in both USD and your payment currency.

Financial reports

These reports contain final revenue data, and are usually published between the 10th and 14th of each month.

Ads Revenue

The Ads Revenue report contains revenue and views related to advertising-supported videos.

Subscriptions Revenue The Subscriptions Revenue report includes revenue from YouTube Music, Google Play Music, and YouTube Premium.
Transactions Revenue 

The Transactions Revenue report contains revenue from movie rentals (EST) and video rentals (VOD).

The Transactions Revenue report is available only to Movie and TV partners.

Audio Tier Revenue The Audio Tier Revenue report contains YouTube Music revenue from users who are:
  • Using a radio-like experience that isn’t on-demand
  • On screenless devices using the Google Assistant (for instance, Google Home)
Ads Adjustments Revenue

The Ads Adjustments Revenue report summarizes ads revenue adjustments. This can include revenue from monetization in dispute and revenue from asset conflict resolution.

This report is only published when adjustments are made for a given month.

Channel Level Adjustment

The Channel Level Adjustment report includes deductions and re-injections, where applicable, against channels that have violated our YouTube channel monetization policies. This report is broken down by channel and their currency code and includes a reason for deductions.


This report is only available for non-music CMS partners and MCN-A partners.

Subscriptions Adjustments Revenue

The Subscriptions Adjustments Revenue report summarizes subscriptions revenue adjustments.

This report is only published when adjustments are made for a given month.

Paid Features The Paid Features report includes revenue from:
  • Super Chat purchases (SCT)
  • Memberships (SPT)
  • Super Stickers (SST)
  • BrandConnect (YTBC)
Other Reports Custom reports (not available to all users).

Performance reports

Performance reports are generally published on a weekly basis. Some reports may be published more often. The following performance reports are available:

  • Videos report
  • Assets report
  • References report
  • Claims report
  • Campaign performance report
Performance reports
Report Name Description
Videos The Videos report includes:
  • Video status
  • Ad enablement
  • Number of views
  • Asset ID
  • Policy

The Videos report is available 3 times per week. It doesn’t include revenue data.  

If a video is claimed by multiple assets, you’ll see multiple asset IDs in the Asset ID column, but only one set of asset metadata.

Assets The Assets report includes all important details about your assets.There are 3 assets reports available: 
  • Asset report
  • Asset conflicts report
  • Assets (shares) report
Information that is in this report that cannot be found in other reports includes:
  • Ownership territories
  • Asset type
  • Constituent asset ID
  • Active and inactive references
  • Match policy
This document is useful for partners who want to:
  • Check a set of assets to see if the ownership information is correct
  • Map out constituent asset IDs to synthesized asset IDs
  • See all assets with a particular match policy
These reports are published on a daily basis (if available). 
References

The References report provides an overview of all the active reference files and associated matches.

Claims

The Claims report contains a complete list of all active claims associated with the account, including each claim's attributes and settings. 

Campaigns

The Campaign Performance report tells you how often campaign cards on eligible videos were clicked.
