Finance Manager

We are in search of a Finance Manager to join, Aonic, headquartered in Stockholm. Aonic is a rapidly expanding video gaming group (no gambling) with a presence in over 12 global offices and more than 600 employees. As a Finance Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and in building and optimizing finance operations, reporting directly to the CFO, and closely collaborating with the senior management team. The role offers a wide range of opportunities, many of which will pose new challenges for the candidate. Key responsibilities encompass a range of possible areas (experience in all areas is not a prerequisite to apply, keen motivation and interest are sufficient):

• Budgeting and Financial Planning: Financial forecasting and budgeting, and financial planning to support growth and expansion initiatives. Collaborate closely with our global publishing unit to develop and follow up on forecasts. Contribute to M&A and investment processes within the group by enhancing methodologies and reporting, streamlining processes, and facilitating efficient capital allocation.
• Finance Operations and Monthly Closing: Ensure the seamless functioning of accounting and finance operations, aligning with reporting needs, financial decision-making, and overall business requirements. Be a driving force of the finance operations of Aonic’s global publishing business, including support on accounting system/ERP implementations and set up efficient reporting processes to ensure quality and relevancy of financial data. Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Monitor key financial performance indicators across the group, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, to provide management with actionable insights, such as identifying areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement strategies.
• Project Management: Oversee and drive key finance projects, leading implementation and improvement initiatives within the finance function, in particular within Aonic’s publishing business.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global finance teams to harmonize financial objectives with the overarching company strategy. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the group and subsidiaries around best practices for financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience, with a strong background in financial analysis, controlling or similar.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and systems is a merit
• Exceptional analytical thinking and unwavering attention to detail, coupled with a robust sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
