You can make pairs of 2, 3 etc depending on what you’re trying to achieve.

In Person collaboration training will generally foster more effective learning outcomes in my opinion. In person should be the chosen method whenever practical. The ability to digress and have open conversations. People are generally more open and conversations flow that bit easier in person and it is generally more effective to ensure all voices are heard. The ability to read the body launague of people in the room. Influence the direction of the learning or even to read people for when a short break is needed is more difficult through a screen. I also find that in person people are less likely to take a call or revert to work. It can be too easy for the camera to go off whilst person takes a call, responds to an email.

Especially for the student who is visually oriented. And lastly, the positioning of the workstations is very important because I find it beneficial to sit in such a way that I have a good overview of the students.
