About this movie

From writer/director Rob Zombie comes the strangest love story ever told. Lily is just your typical 150-year-old, lovelorn vampire looking for the man of her nightmares . . . that is until she lays eyes on Herman, a seven-foot-tall, green experiment with a heart of gold. It's love at first shock as these two ghouls fall fangs over feet in this crazy Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, it's not all smooth sailing in the cemetery as Lily's father The Count has other plans for his beloved daughter's future, and they don't involve her bumbling beau Herman. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll howl at the moon as The Munsters make their way to Mockingbird Lane!

I never thought I'd live to see the day Rob Zombie made an accessible film. When I first heard he was doing this, my mind conjured up all sorts of terrible images based off of his last films. LOL! But NO - this is just a man that loves him some Munsters, and it TOTALLY shows through. It doesn't have the grandiose of Burton's Addams Family, but it doesn't need that. Also, I think Lily and Grandpa's performances were DEAD on the money, and Herman's was half-in-the-GRAVE. Exceeded my expectations!

I did not see this movie. But I don't need to. When I watched the trailer the film looked as if it were a low budget film. And the horrible reviews from both critics and the public also speak for themselves.

I don't often stop a movie once I've started watching it. This is one of those movies. Terrible. Sorry people involved with this movie. But it's a stinker.
