About this movie

Oscar® winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and then Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, Nope. The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery. Nope, which co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection), is written and directed by Jordan Peele and is produced by Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) and Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions. The film will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide.

Umm… Nope! Don’t waste your time. Saw it opening night; was excited for a fun monster/alien. Wasn’t really hoping to see a flying jellyfish thing that murders men, woman, and children on a whim because its grouchy about some plastic flags and fake horse it couldn’t digest. So dumb. (And yes, I did enjoy Get Out. This is nothing even close to that.)

hands down one of the worst movies I have ever seen, A24 is often refreshing and imaginative with horror entities. However, this is not the film you would expect from Jordan Peele and A24 productions. I am sad about my hopes for this movie. If you're an avid horror fan you may be slightly disappointed, it had potential yet how it was depicted was not as effective as they may have hoped.

Very fun and abstract. Deliciously wierd. Wonderfully Humorous. I really enjoyed the Stoic Main character and the Dichotomy his sister provides in her blisteringly fast delivery and humor. The pacing of the movie was well done and the total length felt good but in my gut I felt a good 10 - 20 minutes of this movie could be edited down. It could be that I simply underappreciated the dramatic pauses in the action and the affect they have on the experience. I equally complain movies are too fas
