I will say if you are unfamiliar with Elvis's beginnings and Col.Tom Parker- it does start kinda slow to get that info in, but it was brilliant! I can not sing it's praises enough. Baz seamlessly blended actual archived footage within this film. And if you have ever seen Elvis the Way It Is or the 68 Comeback Special you will see that Austin Butler just channels Elvis. Unbelievable. Dude gonna sweep the Awards Season lol I have always Liked Elvis, but now I LOVE ELVIS! TCB⚡

I must admit, I wasn't an Elvis (EP) fan until after this film. Growing up in an African American community in the 90s. I had mixed feelings about Elvis's vibe, but after watching this film and seeing an interview with his childhood friend Sam Bell, I finally got it and the love that so many had for him. He was a truth/reflection of American/Black American cultural bridge. Changing musical and racial history in his own right. Austin for the Oscar. Well done!

This is the best movie I have ever seen in years. From the acting to the editing, all around 5+ stars. I am STARSTRUCK at Austin Butler's performance in this film and it has easily become one of my favourite movies of all time. It's absolutely and undeniably phenomenal. ☆☆☆☆☆ !!!!! Also the sound design was insane as well as the costume and lighting and the transitions were very clever. It made an almost 3 hour movie feel like 10 minutes, I highly recommend watching it. It's so damn good.
