關於這部電影

The story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Five years ago, some family members were deceased that belonged to the Russell family, and of course: Godzilla has brought peace as well as restored balance by destroying the MUTOs. Now, things are about to become more serious! Dr. Ishiro (Ken Watanabe) is back, Now there are new characters here, and they have more character development: A broken-down family called the Russells; Mark (Kyle Chandler), an animal behavior specialist. Dr. Emma (Vera Farmiga), a paleobiologist with a history of environmental movement. And Madison (Millie Bobby Brown). a tormented daughter with a big heart. Dr. IIene Chen (Zhang Ziyi) is an expert on the information about the history of the titans as well as the titans themselves. And Alan Jonah (Charles Dance); a British Colonel of the SAS army that are eco-terrorists. Alan is the human antagonist; releasing all of the titans to restore balance while destroying humans who caused the infection to earth. As for the monsters, The mighty "heroic" king of the monsters himself: Godzilla is back and has more screen-time. Mothra (the queen of the monsters) is back as well. She is Godzilla's loyal sidekick. The primary antagonist of the film has awaken and risen from the depths of icy hell in Antarctica; the dreaded King Ghidorah. Another demon of a monster came on the scene: Rodan. There are two parts where I almost cried and I was mind-blown throughout the whole movie and when it was over, I was very delighted and has wore out my brain because of how intense and utterly compelling it is. Michael Dougherty is the director, writer, and storyteller of the movie, and I am astonished on what he was going for; The script-writing as a whole is very clever as it provides some ingenious ideas for how the battles should progress and how they were handled. There are some moments where the camera is like the human's eye in terms of the same height as the humans as it offers us an unsettling screenplay where it moves rapidly as if the cameraman is running and the camera looks up at the monsters to provide a thrilling sense of awe and large-scale. The screenplay is very dynamic because of how the movie was shot in every single way. The action hits hard like a ton of bricks; it's intense and exciting. The story is one of those plots that have a sub-plot, or two separate storylines that intersect together in the final climax. The cast has added credibility to their performances that make this feel real. The highly effective score by Bear McCreary is brazen and emotionally powerful. Some of the social commentary is intriguing as it reveals the compelling themes of the film that are an effective fusion: It is about family relationships, where the movie deals with parents who are divorced and they have a tormented daughter. It is also about nature, where it shows that we humans are overpopulating and causing mass destruction towards nature's creations, and dealing with animals that live on our planet to maintain balance, as for the fact that Mark wants the titans dead because his son was killed by them, but now he is learning about Godzilla and the titans so that he can understand and redeem himself as a person. And it is about religion; it has faith, redemption, spirituality, and It's an epic battle for supremacy between good and evil; God's goodness vs Satan's darkness. Godzilla is not just an apex predator that restores balance, he is also a God that brings peace to the world. Mothra is a powerful angel of a sidekick. Rodan is like a super-sized Pteranodon from hell. King Ghidorah or Monster Zero is Godzilla's ancient nemesis as well as the ultimate opponent; Not only it is a three-headed dragon that represents Satan, but it is also a lethal invasive species that will transform the earth it's own liking. In conclusion: This is a brilliant and haunting thrill ride of epic proportions; as a spectacle, it is breathtaking with Michael Dougherty's awe-inspiring craftsmanship, and as a story, it is emotionally enthralling with it's thick compelling themes. Highly Recommended.

Here we go again the monster fighting you came to see is put on the wayside while you watch completely false, unrelatable, and most of all stupid AF characters do things not even the village idiot would do. I kept looking at the runtime every 5 minutes just to see much longer I could take before I stopped giving a damn. I don't wanna hear ANYTHING about how the last movie was bad when this took the cake & ate it too just so you don't enjoy it. Unless you're a fan, Save yourself and skip

Watched on HBOMax and thought was so-so at best. Movie puts a lot more focus on the characters and their backstories than actually on godzilla wrecking stuff. Seriously there was more focus on the dude from Friday Night Lights and little girl from Stranger Things than there was on Godzilla... I think Godzilla probably wrecked 1/10 as much havoc as he did in the first film
