A strange recurring dream haunts Ethan Wate in his sleep, but he prefers anything to his waking life. WHENEVER I THINK OF A BAD MOVIE, THIS IS ALWAYS THE FIRST ONE. THIS MOVIE WAS HORRIBLE. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE BOOKS, HAD TERRIBLE ACTING, AND OH MY GOD I CANT GET OVER THEIR ACCENTS. I'VE LIVED IN SOUTH CAROLINA MY WHOLE LIFE AND HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE TALK LIKE THAT (not to mention i grew up in the area where the story is set). Please do not waste your time and money on this shitfest.THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE MARION AND RIDLEY LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK RIDLEY AND THAT GOD AWFUL ENDING.

I read all the books. Was super excited for the movie. Most movies take some liberty with the plot and so on-this was a complete piece of dirt waste of time and money for all parties involved. Beyond horrible casting and acting jeremy irons let me down and i had to read the book again to get this trashout if my mind.If i could rate lower than 1 star i would have. Giant disappointment for book fans.

I'm not much of a love story kind of guy but this was a great movie. The love story between the two main characters was believable. It also shows the small-mindedness and prejudices that can occur in small towns. There was plenty of action and some surprising twists. Being an action/adventure movie buff, I found quite enough action to keep the story together. I really loved the ending! Totally unexpected!
