You turn your back on your original fan base and then try and publish this
garbage to try and keep us baited? I think not sir! I will not buy into
anymore of your novels. You get bought out and throw us to the fire....the
ones that were there from the first....I will not give you anymore of my
money, I'll just finish the HBO series and to hell with what you write.
That will be the end of the Game of thrones series for me!

Loved this book and all the little details in it but I'm sad to say I found it too short. I wish they had gone farther right up until the Mad King but I can see how that would have been a tremendously large book seeing as the timeline doesn't even go to two hundred years after the conquest. I do hope another book is written though and I eagerly await it!

I see so many people giving 1 stars and they are bashing GRRM for not finishing WOW. Martin can write the book series however he likes it. It is his works after all. People seem to forget how hard it is to actually write anything of good quality. Be appreciative and grateful that Martin is still with us at all and he is still willing to finish the book series, after having to endure years of abuse from these so called "fans".
