This is a really good manga series. Great for newcomers and veterans. The story is incredibly real and even if you think it's weird to have talking animals, you will most likely still enjoy it!

Even though I've watch the anime first I'm glad to have read the manga, the art and story is beautiful and I've only read vol 1 can't wait to read the rest

Paru Itagaki began her professional career as a manga author in 2016 with the short story collection Beast Complex. Beastars is her first serialization. Beastars has won multiple awards in Japan, including the prestigious 2018 Manga Taisho Award.
