The Sandman: The Doll's House

This review is not about the comic book itself, but the reading experience in Google Play. I do not recommend reading The Sandmand online. Sandman has a very unique art design that makes the comic even more challenging to have the same great experience of the paper version. I bought this version to try out, but after few pages I gave up.

The second volume in the Sandman Series manages to thread a perfect bridge from the first "Preludes and Nocturnes" to riveting dark, new land in Doll House. not bad digital format, nothing like the hard copy though. :)

First book (Preludes), Neil Gaiman apologizes for the story (till book 8); this book (Doll's House) he says to never apologize? Ok... Anyhow, while I think 'Doll's House' is an improvement to 'Preludes'; in some ways it's about the same too. 'Preludes': Get power back by collecting 3 items. 'Doll's House': Get 4 entities back to restore kingdom (3 actually return). 'Preludes': A story focuses on killer Dr. Dee. 'Doll's House': A story focuses on killer Corinthian. 'Desire' (a new Endless) seems to be the DC Loki of this universe, and while I can appreciate a deviously mischievous character like that; I must have missed Desire's plan/motivation because it just seems like she's messing with 'Dream' for fun. BTW, 'Dream'... What is he doing in this book? He stumbles into entities he needs to find by chance (I guess?). And saves Rose (a known dream vortex he needs to kill) to attempt to kill her later? IDK, maybe I missed some details or maybe Gaiman needs to keep apologizing.
