4.5 Stars I've so been looking forward to this one since reading Jordan's book. Having Sully's story told made me so happy. I couldn't have picked anyone better for her than Cowboy. Sully has gone through so much in her life. Not gonna lie it was tough to read what she had to go through, but to see what inner strength she has is so inspiring. She has fight in her that she is going to need has she moves on her path of healing.

I was swept away in this book. My emotions is a jumble of a mess right now. I am still trying to move through those waves. This book can be a drug you will get addicted and his name is Cowboy! I fell head over heals for this story and I can't stop feeling all the feels. My five stars does not give this book justice. It is so much more! #2023BookRec

What an emotional ride! Melissa never disappoints. You will find yourself with a lump in your throat and smiling so big it hurts. Sully is one of the strongest women characters I have read in a while. What she endured and came out with a fight for a normal life. Cowboy was assigned to look after Sully. He is such a good hearted guy, and is the perfect man to help heal Sully. I was so excited for another book by Melissa that jumped right into For The Love Of Whiskey. However, what I should have done was read Freeing Sully first. You will still find out about Sully's escape in this book.
