About this ebook

Once upon a time, the world’s greatest heroine was reimagined by a comic book legend.

More than forty years after debuting in ALL STAR COMICS #8, the Wonder Woman was reshaped by the legendary George Pérez and returned to the public eye in 1986. She was met with such acclaim that Pérez’s original commitment of six months was extended, and extended, until almost five years had passed. In collaboration with co-writer Len Wein and inker Bruce Patterson, Pérez spearheaded Wonder Woman’s adventures for years, leading her to an unprecedented level of success.

Now these groundbreaking tales are available in the first of a series of eBooks, collecting WONDER WOMAN #1-14 with bonus material including a Who’s Who of Wonder Woman’s world and an art gallery.

An amazing introduction to a new reader getting into what I believe is the most overlooked of DC's Trinity. George Perez breathed new life into Diana's character that has anchored itself for years to come.

This book encapsulates the essential modernization of the greatest of the Female superheroes by George Perez that would be considered equal by director Patty Jenkins as a seminal talent with the character equal to the character's creator, Professor William Marston. With Perez's inimitable grand ornateness of his art and his meticulous research of Greek Mythology combined with a sensitive understanding of the trials and pleasures of his characters, these stories are DC perfection!

About the author

George Pérez started drawing at the age of five and hasn't stopped since. Born on June 9, 1954, Pérez started his professional comics career as an assistant to Rich Buckler in 1973. After establishing himself as a penciller at Marvel Comics, Pérez first came to DC in 1980, where his highly detailed art style was seen in such titles as JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA and FIRESTORM THE NUCLEAR MAN. After co-creating THE NEW TEEN TITANS with Marv Wolfman in 1980, Pérez and Wolfman collaborated again on the landmark miniseries CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. In the midst of the post-crisis revamps, Pérez revitalized WONDER WOMAN and as the series' writer and artist, he not only reestablished Wonder Woman as one of DC's preeminent characters, but also brought in some of the best sales the title has ever experienced.
