Absolutely fantastic read. It was required reading for training for the bar I work in. I'm so glad I bought it. As I will refer back to it as long as I am in the industry. I wish I had bought it sooner.

Most modern bar books are just books of recipes and cocktail history, with only a short chapter or two covering the basics of technique. Those books are a great resource, but The Bar Book focuses less on recipes and more on technique, tools, prep, service, etc. The Bar Book fills a void in cocktail literature by providing extensive information on how to craft the best cocktails.
