A nice read from Frank. He continues his idea, as in Santaroga Barrier, of interaction between the modern world and a self-sufficient isolated community. This book, however, felt rushed, hence a 3/5.

Frank Herbert is the author of the 1965 science fiction classic, Dune. He passed away in 1986.
