March's Ride with Priest

3.75 - 4 stars. This short story moves along quickly and has danger, a promise, connections, chemistry, family, friends, light and dark, and a little angst. A situation forces Priest and Rae to spend a lot of time together which pushes them to the limit, it was nice to see them be open and honest with each other. Personally I would have liked a little bit more of them before their book came to an end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rae is a promise to protect no matter what to his fallen brother in arms. Years have past and he's been keeping that promise. Rae is in trouble by association. The rival MC is at it again. Villains coming back like a bad spinach. Action, protection, conflict of mindset. Funny and complicated. Decent read. Priest is charged with taking care of his best friend’s daughter, Rae. She has been in love with Priest for as long as she can remember. Tired of waiting, Rae gets Priest to notice her. His restraint is strong but he finally gives in. This was an incredible book! It was easy to see how much the characters cared for each other. This author is fantastic and I love reading her books!.
