I remember trying to read this when I was younger and I couldn't grasp it because the language was too sophisticated for me at the time. Though after all these years, me being seventeen now, once I picked this book up, it was hard to put it down. It's an interesting and great read.

I like this book but I have a few things: 1. It says ages 9-12 but there are a few curse words (not saying that's bad) but if u want to read a clean book w/ no curses, this is not the book for you. 2. There are a few miss spelled words. 3. The chapters r 2 loooooong! This is a 300 page book w/ 9 chapters!!! Beside all of this its a good book that is different than the rest(in a good way).

I have had a love for the series ever since this book, and the sequels got better, some didn't do good compared to the first, but they where all amazing. This is action packed, and the back to back dialogue is amazing. The way the perspectives worked was slightly confusing, but unique.
