A wonderful and wholesome look at modern young LGBTQ romance. The characters are believable and the artwork emotive. I'm glad this exists for LGBTQ youth, it would have been monumental in my teens to have this. I would not expect a woman author to capture the anxiety and excitement of being a young gay man, but she does. Work by gay authors has never hit as close to reality for me as Oseman does here. It is a joy. The Netflix series keeps the heart of this and much of the beats so far.

I love Heartstopper I would hope to be in it one day. It creates happiness but it also shows that somethings are very hard, yes it seem to be all happy but if you read the other books it's gets to show more of your health problems. Which is great. It show that not things are good but it is better to be with someone to try to help you. I would so read it again, I do read it again. They also have a show which is great can't wait to see a season 2. 😆😁
