About this audiobook

The adventure continues in this sixth book in the NEW YORK TIMES bestselling series. Deep in the desert there sits a beautiful oasis, ruled by a monarch unlike any other in Erdas. His name is Cabaro, the Great Lion, and he reigns over a kingdom of animals, jealously guarding his golden talisman. No human has ever set foot in the Great Beast's territory. The journey to his oasis is impossible. As a team, Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan have achieved the impossible before. But now that team is broken - the friends scattered by a devastating betrayal. The young heroes and their spirit animals have already sacrificed much in their quest for the talismans. But with the world crumbling all around them - and a ruthless enemy opposing their every move - their greatest sacrifices are yet to come.

NO! NO! NO! Not Shane, I feel like a complete idiot. I trusted him, I thought he was...well I thought the same things as Abeke. It he's not only evil, but he's the reptile King, tell I'm not the only one to see that coming. Seriously, no could have known. But that doesn't make me feel any better. They just lost everything, all there work has been undone. I feel kind of like Shane died too, I mean the boy I thought have was. So I lost Shane And Tarik, two of my favorite characters. I guess it's a good thing Rollan learned to be so sincitive. and he finally joined the Greencloks, Six books and a very tragic death, that's what it takes for Rollan to commit to something. Gerathon is like my least favorite of all the great beasts, she's evil. Can you believe that she's a protector of Erdas? What I want to know is, If Shane was really in charge, then why didn't he try to save his sister? Was he really willing to let her die just to keep his cover? It just doesn't feel right. No way was that whole thing planed. The events were awful, but the book itself was just as good as the others. After all, if I didn't like the books, then it wouldn't feel so bad. The fact that I feel like I've been stabbed in the back is a mark of how invested I am in the series. It sucks, but it's awesome.
