Honestly, not a terrible game, just kind of overwhelming. The mechanics are complicated, to say the least. I kind of wish it were more popular, so there was more info out there on the game. You have to get in with an experienced alliance or do a lot of tinkering. Like a lot of tinkering. The whales kinda run the show, but that's pretty typical. That being said, as an f2p just picking this game up, I was consistently on the server leaderboard (In the first week anyway), so it could be worse.

This is an SLG, like clash of clans or any of the many, many clones. It's very pretty, combat looks like Homeworld but lacks any real strategy. (There's a weird pseudo RPG combat at first that never shows up again) The only "strategy" in this game is how much money you're willing to dump into it.

I enjoy this game immensely. It costs money to make progress, but I'll pay to play. Although I've experienced lots of bugs, they don't affect everyone in the same ways. There are many interesting components to the game. It takes time to fully understand and integrate them into the experience. This is intriguing but leaves open the potential for many bugs. The developers try to compensate players with in-app currency etc. but it's often insufficient. I hope it improves because I really like it!
