About this app

Open Radio is an internet-based radio streaming application that lets you listen to radio stations from around the world on your:
- mobile device running Jelly Bean (4.2.x) or newer;
- Android Automotive OS (https://developers.google.com/cars/design/automotive-os);
- Android Auto (http://android.com/auto);
- Android TV (with limited support) (https://www.android.com/tv).

Open Radio is an ad-free app, but some radio stations may include advertisements in their streams, which the app cannot control.

If you want to add a radio station to Open Radio, you can do so via:
- Radio Browser (https://www.radio-browser.info/add);
- Web Radio (https://jcorporation.github.io/webradiodb).

It's important to note that:
- Open Radio is a community-driven effort, and the databases used by the app are free and open to everyone;
- Me and the database owners are not responsible for the content of the radio stations;
- The databases are community-driven, which means anyone can contribute to them, and everyone is encouraged to respect the work put in by the app creator and the database owners.

To exit Open Radio, you can simply press the Back button until you leave the app.

If you have any suggestions or issues, you can use the issues tracker at: https://github.com/ChernyshovYuriy/OpenRadio/issues.

Loved the app. But after the ads were added, the app crashes all the time and now it's impossible to change stations if using in the car radio because it shuts down to force you to open the app on the phone because it wants to play an ad. Sorry, but will be uninstalling the app.

Used to be good. New splash screen slows user flow for no good reason. I used this app to listen to and test a radio station I run on my own web server. I won't tolerate ads since I'm hosting my own content, so I'll be moving to another app. Updated: Response from developer is that ads are part of the free tier. This was a completely free app at one point, it is no longer. I understand the direction you're taking the app, but please be honest with your users. I will no longer be needing this app

Thank you for your review. We have a free and a paid version of the App. Our Premium (paid) version opens up more opportunities. You can try it out during the free trial. You may also wish to choose the free version with less features available. But we are sure you will enjoy the Premium version, it is definitely worth the money!

This app used to be really good, a fast and free way to listen to internet radio. But, with the most recent update, that has changed. Now it's littered with ads, and the ad free subscription says it's $15 PER WEEK. I shouldn't have to be constantly interrupted by full screen ads or pay $60 a month to listen to FREE internet radio. Please make your ads less intrusive and lower the ad free subscription prices to $5 a month, and you might have an app people wanna use. For me, I'm done.
