Seamless and efficient app (almost always) and excellent customer service in the rare times when there's a problem. I've used Textra for years with no issues until the latest update (4/24/2024). Incoming text notifications no longer had sound. I tried rebooting my phone, clearing data, and finally reinstalling. Still no sound. Emailed Textra. "Jason" responded quickly (over a weekend) and helped until all was well again. In the end the solution that worked for me was a SECOND un/reinstall.

Was great. But International travel cause issues, deleted a bunch of my old messages. 4/26/24: today I updated the app, and now the pictures I send and receive each take about 1 minute to open, where they used to open right away... why? Pictures are a big part of texting. Later...Thank you for writing. I had no issue, ever, until now. It's not useable for pictures.

The customizable feature on Textra is fun. I downloaded Textra when my regular messaging app quit working properly. I do have a problem with it, though. It doesn't go over the phone lines and I don't always have access to the Internet, like on a road trip or even when the power goes out. I had one other issue, but they texted me back immediately and helped me with it! That was awesome. Yay!

Kindly email help@textra.me for help on the above. Meanwhile, Textra SMS supports tapback reaction. Just tap (not long hold) a received message bubble, tap the emoji icon and choose the reaction to send. Easy! Thanks Christy.
