We are looking for an IT Manager, who will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our IT platforms, systems and solutions, this within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of all our company’s computing needs. The emphasis of the role is on IT Management, and where clearly technical skills are required, the ability to manage IT environments is key to the success of the role.

The successful candidate will have strong project and process management skills (Prince2/PMP), a proven professional experience in IT Service management (ITIL) and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.

Responsibilities

·      Manage information technology and computer systems for a multi-national and highly distributed organisation

·      Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations

·      Manage small group of IT staff

·      Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT policies and procedures

·      Ensure security of data, access to platforms and backup of systems

·      Align with users on their needs and required system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

·      Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

·      Audit systems and assess their outcomes

·      Preserve assets, information security and control structures

·      Assure compliance to IT Service-desk SLA’s

Requirements and skills

·      Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience

·      Excellent knowledge of enterprise grade systems and solutions

·      Expertise in Cloud- and data centre co-located management, including data governance and security

·      Ability to manage personnel

·      BS in Computer Science or similar field

·      Prince2/PMP and ITIL certifications will be an advantage

·      Database Administration: experienced in maintaining database on SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL )

Location and working from home Policy

Considering the wide spread of operating companies, this is a remote job. Whether “from home” or from a co-working place, we will leave it up to the individual (where company will compensate for costs of a co-working place). It is expected that the employee can perform its function properly, meaning that a focus area and good quality internet is available.
