Role Purpose

We are looking for someone who will join our team as Marketing Assistant to support us in our marketing related processes. If you are interested in building positive corporate image and would like to start an adventure with British Council marketing team, we encourage you to apply for this role.

The role purpose is to support English marketing activities in the Poland by helping in implementation our marketing strategy. Marketing Assistant would provide exceptional support to events, local promotional activities contributing to the overall impact we make locally and within the Central Europe cluster. They would work with our wider marketing community and local teams in understanding and expanding audiences, markets, and channels of communication, especially digital.

Main Accountabilities But Not Limited To The Following

Programme/Project support

  • Supports the execution of the English marketing and communications strategy and plans.
  • Supports events following the online registrations process and back-office tasks.
  • Monitors and reports on agreed English marketing KPIs.
  • Produces and uploads campaign content for various marketing channels, including country website and social media, makes sure the content is on brand with no broken links and spelling errors.
  • Briefs and works with designers and creative agencies to produce campaign or product protection following the regional and the global brand guidelines and toolkits.
  • Supports our work on audiences and market segmentation working closely with the Marketing Manager and other members in the Marketing Department in the cluster.
  • Researches new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.

Requirements

Essential

  • Right to work in Poland
  • English language skills to the CEF B2/C1 level
  • Polish language skills to the CEF C1 level

Desired

  • Experience in a marketing assistant position at a national level (including internships, freelance work and projects). Experience of and ability to deliver excellent standards of customer service
  • Degree or professional qualification in marketing or business

Salary – from 5 800 PLN gross

Contract Type – 3 month probationary period followed by indefinite contract
