Sr. Executive Technical Procurement

Job purpose:

• A candidate should be a role model and must have solution-oriented approach, make informed decisions and manage the Projects wisely in order to achieve company’s business goals through efficient and transparent sourcing process. Candidate must have:
• Deep insight into how Purchasing activities are being conducted in DICT, IT Hardware and Software and Data Centers and strong knowledge of the field and key suppliers is required.
• Deep insight into how Vendor industry works and strong knowledge of the field and key players.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must have prior experience of DICT Projects and basic understanding of DICT products and procurement processes.
• Knowledge about the SI side and work award processes.
• Multiple RFI’s to get estimated price to prepare bid to participate in the tender.
• Follow up with vendors, as many vendors in this domain are not directly working with CMPak. Thus vendors are requested to get themselves registered as well.
• The new resource will also support to meet strict TAT required for corporate projects.
• Also the solution required by the end customer vary a lot in terms of technology and often multiple suppliers needs to be engaged for complete solution delivery.
• Volume of internal coordination also increases many folds in DICT projects due to multiple stakeholders from different departments e.g. NOMC-CBSC, GCSS, NC, NP, legal, etc.
• The value of these projects are usually small (a few thousand dollars) because of which suppliers are usually asking for advance payment, hence additional time is also required to negotiate better payment terms.
• Review RFP, technical evaluation criteria and other bidding documents submitted by RD
• Prepare bid plan, vendor shortlisting and take consent from technical experts
• Manage/arrange technical clarification sessions
• Commercial & contract draft negotiations
• Analyze and foresee delivery situation and recommend deliver term accordingly i.e., DDP or CPT
• Finalizing the delivery plan along with requesting department and locking with vendor.
• Project result preparation and submission to management for approval
• Submission of bidding documents to CnC for contracting
• Provide support in bid bond/performance bond submission Provide support and follow up with vendor for contract signing.

Skills:

• Must have prior experience of DICT Projects and basic understanding of DICT products and procurement processes. Also he should know the SI side and work award processes.
• Must have knowledge of ERP Platform and preferably Oracle Sourcing Module. Strategic Sourcing. Contract Management. Presentation Preparation and scenario building. 360 degree relationship Management.
• Must Possess high standard integrity and Moral Values
• Strong project management skills (setting/managing timelines, prioritization, communication)
• Problem solving & Negotiation skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity gracefully and initiative to problem solve autonomously

Education:

• BS Computer Science/IT/Software, BE Electrical, Telecom is required.
• Accredited Procurement & Supply chain certifications will be preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-4 Years of relevant experience of Technical or Procurement preferably in DICT, IT Hardware/Software and Telecom Sector is required.
• Must have prior experience of DICT Projects and basic understanding of DICT products and procurement processes. Also he should know the SI side and work award processes.
• Must have knowledge of ERP Platform and preferably Oracle Sourcing Module, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management.
• Presentation Preparation and scenario building.
• 360 degree relationship Management.
