Speaking at a press conference the authorities revealed that they received a call at 9:35 a.m. local time on April 22 from a 10-year-old who stated that “everyone inside the home appeared to be dead.” It followed news that “sometime overnight” the child's father Jonathon Candy, 42, “became involved in an altercation” with his wife Lindsay Candy, 39, before fatally shooting her multiple times. FISH/THE OKLAHOMAN / USA TODAY NETWORK He then “systematically” went through the home, shooting and killing three of their children — Dylan Candy, 18, Ethan Candy, 14, and Lucas Candy, 12, before turning the gun on himself. Lindsay Terry Candy/Facebook Meanwhile, Oklahoma City police added that they had received no calls to the residence prior and that the family had no history of domestic abuse reports. “We’re going to talk to friends and family and see if they may know something,” the police said. On Tuesday, the police added that they were unsure why the child was left unharmed and confirmed that he's now staying with a relative.
