Will Forte is always game for a good laugh.

The Saturday Night Live alum, 53, tells PEOPLE in this week's issue that the last time he felt like a kid was when he was recently hanging out with pal Kristen Wiig and some friends.

"They introduced me to this game. I don't even know what it's called. It might just be, Who's Under the Blanket?" he recalls. "You divide into two teams and one team is waiting outside and sends somebody to crawl out completely covered by a blanket, and you're supposed to try to guess who that person is."

"It's the dumbest most hilarious game," the actor adds. "I haven't laughed like that in so long."

Last recurring dream
They’re about SNL, and the show is starting and I’m supposed to be in a scene, but I haven’t seen it and don’t know anything. Then the scene starts, and I’m supposed to be out there. It took the place of the old high school test dreams.

Last time I missed someone
I just got back [to L.A.] from working in New York, and I missed my mom and dogs a bunch. My mom is coming to the Bodkin premiere tonight, and then I’m going straight home to get some big, dopey 70-pounder snuggles.

Last time I danced
About three nights ago to Encanto. I have two young daughters, one who’s about 3 and one who’s about a year and a half, so we are dancing all the time. I’m so bad at it, but when they get up, it makes me instantly want to dance.

Last obsession
Ice cream. My main one is Jeni’s Gooey Butter Cake. Thank God I’m on cholesterol medicine, but if it’s in the house, I can tell myself I’m taking two bites and then I eat the entire pint. It’s a legitimate concern.
