The 41-year-old professional dancer announced his diagnosis on Instagram and shared that his partner Charity Lawson will dance with Ezra Sosa for the show’s Latin Night. “So sad [to] announce but here it comes. I will not be performing with @charitylawson tonight on @dancingwiththestars due to Covid ( Covid sucks ),” he wrote. They danced the tango to Rihanna's "Only Girl in the World," and as judge Bruno Tonioli proclaimed immediately after their performance: “That was a tango stunner!” Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough agreed. In fact, Inaba was practically speechless, nearly cursing in excitement on air. “What week is it?!” she said with a laugh as Lawson's fiancé, Dotun Olubeko, beamed with pride in the audience. "Exquisite," Hough said of the tango that earned the pair the highest score of the night.
